The Texas Tech Red Raiders take on the Texas A&M Aggies on Sunday afternoon in the US LBM Coast-to-Coast Challenge. The two teams will battle it out at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX. The Red Raiders come into Sunday on a three-game winning streak and 7-1 on the season. Their lone loss of the year came back on November 21st when they fell to Saint Joseph’s by a single point. They bounced back with a win over Syracuse the next day and then beat Northern Colorado and DePaul at home. They have played well to start the season, but their game on Sunday will be their first against a ranked team all season. JT Toppin and Darrion Williams have been good for the Red Raiders this season as they are averaging 18.6 and 17.1 points per game respectively. Toppin is also the team leader in rebounding at 11.0 per game for a double-double average.

The Aggies also come into Sunday on a three-game winning streak and they are 7-2 on the season.
They lost their first game of the year at UCF, but have picked up two ranked wins since that loss and have won three in a row against major conference opponents.
The Aggies have packed their non-conference schedule as they will get another tough game next Saturday when they play No. 8 Purude.
First, though, they want to take care of their old conference foe Texas Tech and win their fourth straight game.
