The Longhorns come into Wednesday’s game with an overall record of 17-14 and a conference record of 6-12. The team wrapped up regular season play on Saturday at home against Oklahoma, falling in a close 76-72 defeat. Jordan Pope paced four to double digit finishes with his team-leading 21-point performance, while Tramon Mark and Arthur Kaluma each finished the game with 12 points. Julian Larry rounded out the double digit scorers after coming off the bench to score 10 points. The team shot 39 percent from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc, but ultimately came up short against the Sooners.

The Commodores bring a two-game losing streak into tournament play after dropping their regular season finale to Georgia on Saturday in a 79-68 defeat, dropping the team’s overall record to 20-11 and its conference record to 8-10. Against the Bulldogs, Jason Edwards led the Vanderbilt offense, dropping 24 points on the Bulldogs, while Chris Manon and Jaylen Carey each added 10 points to the scoreboard. Carey led the team on the boards, pulling down nine rebounds to just miss a double-double in the team’s loss.
