Top-seeded Memphis goes for its seventh straight win on Saturday afternoon when it takes on Tulane
The Memphis Tigers look to earn a trip to the AAC Finals on Saturday afternoon when they play the Tulane Green Wave. The Tigers come into Saturday red-hot as they have won six straight games including a close 83-80 win over Wichita State on Friday in the quarterfinals. The Tigers trailed by as many as nine in the first half, but led through most of the second half to get the win. PJ Haggerty was great for the Tigers as he scored a season-high 42 points in the win. Haggerty hit 16 shots and went 10-11 from the free throw line. Haggerty is now scoring 21.9 points per game, while Tyrese Hunter and Dain Dainja have also been good scoring 13.9 and 13.8 points per game respectively. Dainja is also the team’s top rebounder at 7.0 boards per game.

The Green Wave are going to have to find a way to beat a Tigers team that they lost to earlier this season.
The two teams played back on Jan. 20 with the Tigers coming away with a 68-56 victory. The Green Wave have lost just three times since that game and they come into Saturday 19-13 overall.
They earned a trip to the semifinals with an 83-76 win over FAU on Friday in the quarterfinals.
Asher Woods scored 20 points for the Green Wave to get them the win and give them another shot at the Tigers.
Rowan Brumbaugh and Kaleb Banks have been the top two scorers for the Green Wave at 15.5 and 15.1 points per game respectively.
