The two teams will play in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The tournament is a week-long event that will wrap up with the championship game on Sunday. The Green Wave come into Wednesday 19-14 and winners of four of their last six games. They fell to Memphis in the AAC tournament and are looking to avoid a second straight loss. They haven’t lost two in a row since dropping five straight back in late November into early December. The Green Wave have been led by Rowan Brumbaugh, who is scoring a team-best 15.7 points per game. Kaleb Banks is second on the team in scoring at 14.7 points per game, while also leading the team with 6.7 rebounds per game. Asher Woods and Gregg Glenn II are also averaging in double figures at 11.3 and 10.6 points per game, respectively.

The Trojans will look to slow down the Green Wave offense as they try and move on to the second round.

The Trojans come into the tournament just 16-17 on the season and they have lost seven of their last nine games. They did earn a Big Ten Tournament win over Rutgers, but they lost to No. 20 Purdue by five in their last game.

The Trojans have been led by Desmond Claude, who is scoring 16.3 points per game. Wesley Yates III is right behind him at 14.1 points per game. Saint Thomas is the team’s top rebounder at 6.7 per game while also scoring 9.0 points per game.
