UAB joined the American last season after nearly 30 years in Conference USA and comes off an appearance in last year’s NCAA tournament. The Pirates haven’t danced in March since 1993.

Walker gets 18.2 points per game, while RJ Felton averages 17.6 points and 7.3 rebounds.

UAB is 13-6 against the Pirates all-time and won the last meeting in Birmingham on Jan. 20, 2024.
