They were demolished in that game for their second loss in the Big Ten. Michigan came out hot and led by 10 at the halftime break. UCLA was never able to recover and lost by 19 points. They took down Ohio State by 24 points on a 23-point performance from Ja’Kobi Gillespie. That was right before they lost to former No. 8 Purdue by five points on the road. Derik Queen leads Maryland in scoring this season. The 6-foot-10 freshman center is averaging 16.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game this season.
