UNC-Wilmington looks to extend its seven-game winning streak at Drexel on Saturday.

After both teams played two nights ago ahead of this conference matchup, Drexel hosts UNC-Wilmington at the Daskalakis Center in Philadelphia on Saturday. Following a seventh-straight win over a conference opponent earlier this week, UNC-Wilmington is red hot entering Saturday’s contest. Drexel, on the other hand, got back in the win column to improve to 13-11 overall with a 5-6 conference record and a 5-5 record at home this season. This is the 24th all-time matchup between these two CAA foes, with UNCW winning the last meeting by a final score of 75-56 last February.

Most recently, the Seahawks extended their winning streak to seven games with a 77-67 victory over Delaware in Newark on Thursday night. Donovan Newby led UNCW with his seventh 20-point performance of the season to lead all scorers. Harlan Obioha also pitched in with 14 points.

As for Drexel, the Dragons took care of business with a 86-66 victory over William & Mary in Philly on Thursday night. Jason Drake scored a season-high 25 points, leading a 16-4 run for the Dragons to pull away in the second half.
