In their first three conference games the Rebels are averaging 81.0 points per game. They have won all three by an average of 11.6 points per game. The offense is led by sophomore Dedan Thomas, who has only improved in his second season in college basketball.

Thomas is averaging 16.3 points and 4.3 assists per game, leading the team in both categories while shooting 41.5% from three. In the first three conference games he has elevated his game averaging 15.7 points and 5.0 assists per game on 42.9% shooting from three.

For the Broncos this season the team has been defined by their play on the defensive end. They are allowing just 66.3 points per game to opponents as a team. That defense will need to play at a very high level to knock off the Rebels and give their rivals their first conference loss of the season.
