UNLV looks to get back above .500 in the Mountain West when it visits San Jose State on Tuesday night

UNLV (14-13) had a three-game winning streak snapped on Saturday night to fall to 8-8 in the Mountain West Conference with four games remaining. On Tuesday, the Runnin’ Rebels take on San Jose State (13-16) at Provident Credit Union Event Center in San Jose with the Spartans coming off their first win in five games. San Jose State comes in with a 6-11 conference mark and is just 6-7 at home while UNLV is 4-6 in the road. The Runnin’ Rebels won the first meeting between the teams on Jan. 4 in Las Vegas, taking a 79-73 decision..

Sadaidriene Hall’s layup with 6:30 to go gave the Spartans the lead and launched a 15-2 run that turned the game around en route to an 82-73 win at Wyoming on Saturday afternoon. Josh Uduje scored 29 points in the victory while Latrell Davis came off the bench for 17.
