It ended Rutgers’ first west coast conference road trip splitting the trip after starting with a loss against Oregon. Dylan Harper was a huge difference maker notching his 30+ game of the season with a game-high 34 points. Rutgers was trailing by one with 12 seconds left but Jeremiah Williams secured a brilliant steal of an inbound pass and drew a foul to send the game to overtime. Williams finished the night with 13 points. Rutgers should be the slight favorite at home for this last game on the college basketball schedule Sunday night.

USC is trying to turn it around as it has lost four of its last five games including a 88-71 loss against No. 20 conference rival Maryland. It was the Terrapins 13th win in a row at home. Maryland never trailed after opening the game with an 11-0 run. Wesley Yates III still had a productive game for the Trojans leading the team with 21 points. Unfortunately Yates was the only one to score more than 11 points. They’ll need a lot more contributors tonight if USC is to pull off this road upset.
