The Washington Huskies host the USC Trojans on Saturday night in a Big Ten conference matchup. The Huskies and Trojans both come into Saturday looking to win their first ever Big Ten game after they both lost their conference openers earlier this week. The Huskies came up short against rival UCLA 69-58 on Tuesday night and they now sat 6-2 on the season. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Huskies. The game against the Bruins was the first for the Huskies this season against a major conference opponent. Saturday’s game is the first of seven straight games in on their home court for the Huskies and they are looking to take advantage. The Huskies have been led by Great Osobor who is averaging a team-best 14.5 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. Tyler Harris is the only other player averaging double figures as he is scoring 14.0 points per game.

The Trojans will have to find a way to slow down the duo if they want to come to town and get a big win over the Huskies. The Trojans fell in their first conference game of the season to Oregon on Wednesday night. The loss was their third in a row and dropped them to 5-4 on the season.
They had won five of their first six games to start the season, but have struggled in losses to Saint Mary’s, New Mexico and the Ducks. The Trojans have four players averaging double figures this season and are led by Desmond Claude who is scoring a team-best 12.9 points per game.
