They closed out their season with two wins and a loss this month. They beat Charlotte and Tulane before dropping the finalé to Florida Atlantic on Sunday by almost 30 points. The backcourt duo of RJ Felton and Jordan Riley leads the team. Felton is averaging 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Riley is averaging 14.4 points and 5.8 rebounds this season.

The UTSA Roadrunners finished their season 12-18 overall and were just 6-12 against teams in the American Athletic Conference, tied with USF and Tulsa. Due to the tiebreakers in the conference, they ended with the worst of the three tied seedings. They ended their season on a high note, though, beating Charlotte by three points on the road.

This will be their first game of the tournament, with just that one game in the first round. The winner of this game advances to the quarterfinals. UTSA is led on the court by senior guard Primo Spears. He is averaging 19.8 points and 4.0 assists per game. The frontcourt is led by Raekwon Horton, who is averaging 12.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
