Duquesne will look to put a stop to conference-leading VCU’s eight-game win streak on Tuesday night in a college basketball showdown.

The VCU Rams will travel to Pittsburgh on Tuesday night to take on the Duquesne Dukes in one of the final regular season college basketball games ahead of tournament action. The Dukes are currently in seventh place in the conference standings with an A-10 record of 8-8 and an overall record of 13-16. The Dukes got off to a slow start this season, but picked up their level of play about halfway through and have been slowly climbing the standings. The defending A-10 Tournament champions have won two games in a row with the most recent being a big 85-68 win over second place George Mason on Saturday at home. Tre Dinkins III paced the team with his 20-point performance. The team finished the game shooting 52 percent from the field and 48 percent from long range in one of its strongest outings of the season.
