VCU will travel to Missouri on Tuesday night as the Rams continue Atlantic 10 basketball play against Saint Louis.

The Saint Louis Billikens will play host to the VCU Rams at Chaifetz Arena on Tuesday night as the teams square off in an Atlantic 10 matchup. The Billikens come into Tuesday’s game with an overall record of 12-8 and a conference record of 5-2 for a spot in third place in the A-10 standings. The team dropped its last game to George Washington on Saturday in a 67-61 defeat on the road. Robbie Avila led the scoring for the Billikens with 13 points while Gibson Jimerson followed closely behind with 12 points and Kobe Johnson and Isaiah Swope rounded out the double digit scorers with 11 points each. Jimerson led the team on the boards with seven rebounds to help hold onto possession and earn the win.

The Rams are leading the Atlantic 10 standings with a conference record of 6-1 and an overall record of 16-4. The team has won six games in a row with the most recent being a 75-61 victory over St. Bonaventure at home. Four Rams finished in double figures led by Joe Bamisile who scored 18 points. Zeb Jackson came off the bench to lead the team on the boards, pulling down nine rebounds to go along with seven points in the win. The team collectively shot 44 percent from the field and 45 percent from long range while going 12-for-16 from the line.

Saint Louis and VCU have now met a total of 20 times since VCU joined the Atlantic 10 Conference in 2012. The Rams hold a 17-5 lead in the all-time series and have beaten the Billikens in six straight games.
