Wake Forest played two games last week against perennially the ACC’s two hardest teams. In both games at home, the team beat North Caroling by one point, 67-66, and despite having the lead against Duke with less than five minutes remaining, lost the game by seven points, 63-56. Hunter Sallis leads the team in scoring through 20 games, averaging 18.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.

The Louisville Cardinals are also 15-5 overall, and in the conference, they are 8-1 against those teams. They are one game behind the conference leader and a half-game behind Clemson. In the last 10 days, they have played two games. On Saturday the 18th, they took down Virginia by 14 on the back of 19 points from Reyne Smith on 4-for-11 shooting.

In the middle of last week on Tuesday, they went on the road to SMU and won by 25 points. Smith scored 30 points in the win with three rebounds. Chucky Hepburn finished with a massive double-double scoring 13 points and dishing out 16 assists with five rebounds. Khani Rooths came off the bench and had 12 points with seven rebounds in 18 minutes.
