They followed it by opening 2025 with a 31-point win over Portland at home, led by Nolan Hickman’s game-high 13 points. They then went on the road and took down Loyola Marymount by 28 points on the back of a 27-point, nine-rebound night from Graham Ike. Earlier this week, they were able to beat San Diego at home by 13 points. Ike leads the team in scoring this season, averaging 16.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.

The Washington State Cougars (13-4, 3-1) lost their first conference game of the season earlier this week in a rough, one-point overtime loss at home to Pacific. Nate Calmese made a free throw to put them up by two with eight seconds left, and Pacific hit a game-winning three-point bucket as time expired. That snapped a three-game winning streak in the conference.

They had previously taken down Portland by 16 points, Loyola Marymount by 14 points, and San Francisco by nine points in their first three WCC games. They will look to rebound from that loss with a ranked win here tonight. Calmese leads the team in scoring this season, averaging 16.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.9 steals per game.
