The Musketeers closed out the second half on a 45-31 run to steal the win. Junior Ryan Conwell led the way with his best game not only of the season and in a Musketeers uniform, but his best scoring game of his career after transferring from South Florida to Indiana State to the Musketeers.
Conwell exploded for 34 points on 6-10 shooting from three and 12-14 shooting from the free-throw line. After a first half with just five points Conwell was unstoppable with 29 points in the second half to fuel the comeback.
The Wildcats were led by a trio of double-figure scorers in the loss. Seniors Eric Dixon and Jordan Longino finished with 18 points each on 6-10 shooting from three combined. Fellow senior Wooga Poplar added 14 points in the loss. That veteran trio will try to even the season series with a win against the Musketeers.
