Northwestern and Minnesota have met a total of 172 times in their history dating back to 1909. The Golden Gophers hold a 101-71 lead in the all-time series and already picked up a win against the Wildcats this year. The teams met in early January and the game went in Minnesota’s favor with an 84-78 victory.
