The Iowa Hawkeyes will welcome the No. 13 Purdue Boilermakers to their home court on Saturday in a battle of two Big Ten men’s basketball schools.

The Boilermakers will take their talents to Iowa City with a 20-4 record this season and a 10-3 mark inside the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes have risen to 8-5 in conference play and have an 18-6 record overall this season. Purdue is the No. 4 team in the standings, tied with Nebraska and Michigan State. It is 0.5 games back from Illinois and 2.5 games back from the conference-leading Michigan. Iowa is two games back from its opponent with Wisconsin and UCLA sitting between these two teams.

However, that streak was stopped on Wednesday with a seven-point loss to Maryland on the road. Bennett Stirtz leads the team in scoring this season, averaging 20.4 points and 4.9 assists per game.
