Dion Brown iced the game with a free throw with 10 seconds remaining while Robbie Avila finished with 14 points and six assists. Trey Green added 14 points and four steals and Brown also scored 14 points. Amari McCottry snared four steals and Quentin Jones blocked three shots.

St. Bonaventure trailed by 12 at halftime before erupting after the break for 54 points and cruising to an 84-70 win over visiting Loyola Chicago on Tuesday night. Darryl Simmons II scored 26 points, with Frank Mitchell going for 18 points, 11 rebounds and five steals and Cayden Charles posting 16 points and 10 boards. Dasonte Bowen dished out eight assists and had three steals as well.

Saint Louis has won four straight over the Bonnies to claim a 17-16 lead in the all-time series. Avila leads the Billikens with an average of 12.8 points while Brown gets 11.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Mitchell paces St. Bonaventure with averages of 17.3 points and 10.4 rebounds, with Simmons scoring 15.6 points per game.
