The Celtics (3-1) were one of seven teams tied with the best record in the summer league but finished fifth in the tiebreaker — they had a plus-20 points differential — and will face the Nets (2-2) on Saturday to close out their stay in Las Vegas.

Boston has won its last three games, including a 108-91 victory over the Grizzlies on Thursday. The Celtics led by as much as 20 and their lead never dipped below double digits in the fourth quarter.
Second-round pick JD Davison from Alabama had 28 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals for Boston, hitting nine-of-14 overall and four-of-six from behind the arc. Another second-rounder, Juhann Begarin, finished with 19 points and Trevion Williams, undrafted out of Purdue, posted 11 points and 11 rebounds off the bench.
Brooklyn won its last game on Thursday, beating Minnesota 102-83. The Nets led by as much as 23 in the final period, putting the game away with a 10-2 run to open the quarter.
Second-year guard Cam Thomas scored 26 points for the Nets while Day’Ron Sharpe, also a rookie last year, finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks. David Duke Jr., who was a two-way player for Brooklyn last season, went for 16 points and six assists.
