There will be no Thursday Night Football this week as the Ravens/Steelers game originally scheduled for Thanksgiving Day was postponed for nearly a week. The Ravens were scheduled to play the Cowboys the next day but that game was rescheduled for Tuesday, December 8. The Steelers will have their game against the Washington Football Team moved up to Monday, December 7 at 5:40 p.m. The channel has not yet been announced by the NFL.

Pittsburgh is still undefeated which is even more remarkable knowing that they have had five schedules changes since October. Mike Tomlin should be at the top of anyone's list for coach of the year, an award somehow he's never won since he took over as the Steelers coach in 2007. With all the schedule changes, we'll try to keep it all together for you and let you know what games we are looking forward to most this week.

In the early afternoon slot, the Cleveland Browns at Tennessee Titans game is the most intriguing and the one with the most implications in the standings. Yes, that isn't a typo. The Browns are in one of the best games of the week. They're good this year and are in second place in the AFC North behind the Steelers. The problem is that they only have one win against a team above .500 (Week 5 Colts).

They've taken care of business against every bad team but have been absolutely walloped by the Ravens and Steelers and came up dormant in terrible weather at home against the Raiders. If they are able to win this one, it will put a signature win on their resume and there may start to be belief this team can do something in the playoffs.

The real test will be a full-strength Ravens team in Week 14. If they can beat both, they're legit contenders in the AFC. If not, the only thing that will matter is that Cleveland will end the NFL's longest playoff drought at 18 years. Nothing to blink at certainly but the Browns want a whole lot more.

As for the Tennessee Titans, they have an opportunity to pull away with the AFC South with a Colts lost week and they play a resurgent Texans team that is hanging points as of late. The Titans will be favored in this one with their more well rounded and stable offense but if Baker Mayfield and the Browns hold on to the ball, expect this one to be close.

The late afternoon block we have an NFC West battle for second place in the division and a likely Wild Card spot in the playoffs on the line. Interestingly enough this won't be the only game of the week that is played in the Cardinals stadium. The San Francisco 49ers will play their next two home games in Phoenix because Santa Clara County have new COVID-19 restrictions that ban contact sports. The 49ers play the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.

The 49ers won in an upset against the Rams last week and if they beat the Bills they might become a mix in this division no matter who wins the Rams/Cardinals game. The Cardinals though have lost two in a row and are in jeopardy of missing the playoffs if they don't turn things around quick. The Rams are pretty Jekyll and Hyde this season so who knows what to expect from them. It is very realistic that Kyler Murray can take control of this game and outduel Jared Goff who has just been okay this season and get the Cardinals right back in this division.
