How to Watch Live NFL Week 17
The NFL Playoff picture is wild heading into Week 17. Who will survive and advance to the 2021 postseason? ANDREW GOMBERT/EPA

There are so many playoff scenarios that the only way to keep up with it all is to watch every game. Thank the football gods for NFL RedZone. The teams that have clinched a playoff spot in the AFC are the Kansas Chiefs who have earned home field advantage throughout the playoffs, the Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In the NFC, the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks have all clinched their divisions but there's still a fight to earn home field between them all. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have also clinched a playoff spot so they are only waiting on seating now.

The Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns are in the hunt and would all make it if the season ended before Week 17 kickoff. The Indianapolis Colts are on the bubble even with 10 wins. In the NFC the Washington Football Team, Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears are in the hunt. The Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants are on the bubble.

Let's dig into some of these playoff scenarios. Two weeks ago, the Rams had a 99.9 percent chance to make the playoffs. Then they lost to Jets who hadn't won a game at that point. If they lose to the Cardinals and the Bears win, they will miss the postseason for the second consecutive season since making the Super Bowl in 2019.

The Colts have a good chance of winning 11 games in their best season since Andrew Luck retired in 2018 and still could miss the playoffs. Luckily for them, they are playing the Jacksonville Jaguars who clinched the No.1 pick in next year's draft after only winning one game up to this point. But they won in week one against these Colts.

Indy's easiest path is winning the division with a win and a Tennessee loss or tie against the Houston Texans. The Titans could also win the division or completely miss the playoffs. The last team to win 11 games and not make the playoffs was the New England Patriots who without Tom Brady the whole year. This year was the first time since they've been without Brady the entire year and maybe it's no coincidence they missed these playoffs.

The NFC East probably doesn't deserve any representative in the playoffs. All of them will finish with records under .500 but you can't take away that these teams have overcome tremendous adversity. Washington could make the playoffs under the leadership of the surefire comeback player of the year, Alex Smith who was out of the league for nearly two years with a fractured leg. The Cowboys have had four quarterbacks this season and the Giants started the season 1-7.

Washington is playing the Eagles who were eliminated last week and have the highest percentage of moving on at more than 50 percent. The Cowboys and Giants have a 28 and 22 percent chance respectively. Dallas and New York play each other so they both need a win and a Washington loss.

The Browns are having their first winning season since 2007 and have the opportunity to make the playoffs for the first time since 2002. No fanbase deserves this more than Cleveland. But there is still a chance that the Browns miss the playoffs if they lose to the Steelers and the Colts win. The most disappointing thing may be that they could have earned a playoff spot last week if they beat the 1-13 Jets. As is life for a Browns fan.

The good news for Cleveland is that the Steelers are resting Ben Roethlisberger and starting backup Mason Rudolph who infamously got in a fight with Myles Garrett the last time he played the Browns. Cleveland will have plenty of motivation in this one.

The Ravens have a good shot at making the playoffs as they could win their final five games and they're ending the season against the Cincinnati Bengals without Joe Burrow. Even crazier is that the Bears can make the playoffs by winning their last four games. The craziest thing is that they are doing it with Mitchell Trubisky who has been up and down his whole career. If they beat the Packers with Trubisky, would or should the Bears resign him?

Bad news for the Bears is that the Packers should be playing all out to earn the No. 1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. They are currently in that spot now and if they win, they will keep it. If they lose, and the Saints win, New Orleans will take that spot. If the Pack and the Saints lose and the Seahawks win, the NFC playoffs will go through Seattle. This season finale is one of the most consequential in many years. Keep up with every scenario with fuboTV.
