In addition to the flag football game, there will also be a skills competition between the two conferences. Events in the past have included passing accuracy competitions, highlight catch competitions and tug-of-war from the linemen.

This year’s Pro Bowl is the first since it was announced that flag football will be included in the next Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028 and that NFL players will be able to participate. This year’s game is viewed as somewhat of an early exposure to see how NFL stars and potential future Olympians look in this format.
