The Packers last game two week ago in Dallas, finished in a 40-40 tie in overtime against the Cowboys. It was the return of Micah Parsons to AT&T Stadium after being traded in the summer to the Packers. For much of the game Parsons was kind of quiet, but that was until the extra quarter where he sacked Dallas QB Dak Prescott to keep him out of the endzone to at least avoid the loss for the Packers. It was looking like Green Bay was going to run away with the game going up 13-0 early in the second quarter. But the Cowboys blocked the extra point for a two-point conversion which started a complete shift in momentum.

Dallas led by halftime 16-13 and went up 23-20 at the end of the third in the back-and-forth game. Dallas scored a touchdown with just 43 seconds left in regulation, but Jordan Love was able to get the Packers in field goal position to force overtime as time expired in the fourth. Both teams exchanged field goals in overtime, with Brandon McManus hitting one as time expired to earn the tie for the Pack. Love played great, passing for 337 yards with three touchdowns. Expect another huge performance against a struggling defense today.

The Bengals have lost three games in a row since Burrow went down with turf toe in a Week 2 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jake Browning relieved Burrow well in that game, but it hasn’t translated over the subsequent weeks. Hence Flacco switching Ohio cities to start for his third AFC North team in his career. Cincinnati is coming off a 37-24 loss against the Detroit Lions last week. David Montgomery ran all over his hometown team, scoring a touchdown on the ground and throwing for one on a trick play. Browning went 26 for 40 for 251 yards and three touchdowns for the Bengals, but the problem was he also threw three interceptions. Jamar Chase did catch two of those scores and racked up 110 yards. It didn’t help the Bengals’ cause that Browning was the team’s rushing leader with 31 yards on four carries. It will be a big storyline to see if this offense can be revamped enough under Flacco, enough to see if it will be worth bringing Burrow back late in the season.
