After beating the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football, the Cincinnati Bengals are back on the road this week taking on the Tennessee Titans.
Was last week a step in the right direction for the Cincinnati Bengals (5-8)? That’s the question after the Bengals beat the Dallas Cowboys 27-20 on Monday Night Football last week. In particular, it was an impressive effort for Cincinnati’s defense. The unit has struggled in the second half of the season bout allowed its fewest points since Week 7. Another another struggling offense the Bengals will look for a repeat performance when they visit the Tennessee Titans (3-10) at Nissan Stadium on Sunday.

While it’s still a long shot, last week’s win kept the Bengals’ slim playoff hopes alive. The Bengals are still three games out of the final wild card spot but the final four games on their schedule include two head-to-head matchups with potential playoff teams in the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers.
As for the Titans, they’ve already been eliminated from playoff contention but are trying to close the season on a high note. Last week they allowed a season-best 10 points defensively, but still came up on the wrong side of a 10-6 loss in a divisional matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
One question facing the Titans right now is whether or not Will Levis is the QB of the future. Levis has four games left to prove to the team he’s worth building around his offseason, starting with this one against Cincinnati’s 29th ranked defense.
