Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take the field against Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will head on the road in Week 5 of the NFL season to take on the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia on Thursday night. The Buccaneers head into this week on top of the NFC South with a 3-1 record through four games. They opened up the year at home taking down the Washington Commanders 37-20 before heading on the road and beating the Detroit Lions 20-16. They lost their first game in Week 3, 26-7, against the Denver Broncos after coming back home. Last week, they got back on the winning side with a 33-16 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, also at home. Quarterback Baker Mayfield has been electric this season with 984 yards through the air and eight touchdowns with two interceptions. He also has another two touchdowns on the ground with 65 rushing yards to add. Rookie Bucky Irving has been the standout in the backfield and leads the team with 203 rushing yards and a score. Chris Godwin and Mike Evans lead the receivers like normal with a combined 536 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

The Falcons are an even 2-2 heading into this divisional battle. The Pittsburgh Steelers took them down in the first week of the season 18-10 before they got their first win on the road 22-21 against the Eagles. They lost again in Week 3 against the Kansas City Cheifs 22-17 before beating the New Orleans Saints last week 26-24.

Kirk Cousins, the former Minnesota Vikings quarterback, has 864 yards and four touchdowns with four interceptions. Bijan Robinson leads the team in rushing with 224 yards and a score on the ground. Cousins’ favorite target has been Darnell Mooney who has 15 receptions for 225 yards and a touchdown.
