The Buffalo Bills have a bone to pick with the Kansas City Chiefs as two NFL titans face off in Sunday’s AFC Championship. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

There’s a lot more than just pride at stake for both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills when two powerhouses go head-to-head in the AFC Championship on Sunday. A place in Super Bowl LIX awaits the victor at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Bills have managed to come out on top in each of their last two visits but have never recorded a victory in the post-season. Sean McDermott’s men will be hoping to redeem themselves after last year’s Divisional Play-off loss at home to the Chiefs, having since established some order in this rivalry with a regular-season win in November.

Buffalo is once again on the verge of ending a Super Bowl drought that dates back to 1994, when it was an AFC Championship win against Kansas City of all teams that clinched its spot in the decider.

The Bills haven’t won an AFC Championship game since then, but MVP favorite Josh Allen is just one game from ending the hoodoo if he can evade the claws of one of the most intimidating defenses in the league.

Excitement has long been building towards an AFC Championship showdown that has all the hallmarks of a Super Bowl matchup itself, pitting Patrick Mahomes against Allen at Arrowhead.

And the Kansas City shot-caller has already had his say playing mind games with his Buffalo counterpart, suggesting Allen isn’t as cut out for the pressure cauldron as he is:

Allen will have something to say about that, no doubt, especially after the Bills edged the Chiefs 30-21 at home in November, booking a third straight regular-season win in this rivalry.

The post-season record makes for different reading, however, particularly when Kansas City boasts home field, with a pressure on the referees in particular to get things right this weekend.

Allen and James Cook combined to devastating effect for three rushing touchdowns when these teams last met, so stopping the run game will be of chief importance for Sunday’s hosts.

The Bills successfully blitzed Lamar Jackson to reach the AFC Championship and may look to pressure Mahomes as well, with the Chiefs star boasting a QB rating of just 81.6 (25th in the NFL) against the blitz since Week 12.
