The Los Angeles Chargers go for back-to-back win on the road against the Arizona Cardinals in the second game on Monday Night.
The Los Angeles Chargers and Arizona Cardinals will play the second game of a double-header on Monday Night Football. The Los Angeles Chargers are steadily improving and that is correlating with the improving health of QB Justin Herbert. LA avoided losing three straight last week when they wrapped up the Denver Broncos offense winning 23-16. The Chargers defense looked incredible and didn’t let the Broncos score for the first three quarters. Denver scored 16 unanswered points in the fourth but it was too little too late. Los Angeles excelled after Patrick Surtain II only played one snap after going out with a concussion. Herbert and company dominated the clock and J.K. Dobbins was a huge factor nearly rushing past the century mark while reaching the end zone. The Chargers will likely need to be a little more explosive to keep up with a better Cardinals offense especially when compared to the Broncos. Regardless, Los Angeles will be the slight -2.5-point favorites even on the road tonight. The Chargers will also be rallying around their coach Jim Harbaugh today after leaving last week’s game with an irregular heartbeat.

Arizona has been struggling lately after a strong start to the season now losing three of their last four games. That includes their most recent game against Green Bay where the Packers dominated winning 34-13. Jordan Love couldn’t be stopped throwing for four touchdowns. Kyler Murray didn’t necessarily play poorly throwing for 214 yards with a touchdown but it isn’t the explosiveness we’ve come to expect from this offense. Green Bay was up 24-0 at one point and the Cardinals rally wasn’t quite enough. Arizona will be happy to get back home hoping to jumpstart this offense.
