The Pittsburgh Steelers go for their third win in a row and the top spot in the AFC North when they host the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.

The Pittsburgh Steelers look like a legitimate playoff contender and have a chance to lead the AFC North outright if they are able to beat the New York Giants tonight on Monday Night Football. With how well the Baltimore Ravens have been this season, that didn’t seem like a possibility in Week 8 but the Ravens were stunned by the Cleveland Browns on Sunday to drop to 5-3. The Steelers will be big favorites to improve to 6-2 against a 2-5 Giants team with -5.5 odds tonight. Justin Fields played admirably with Russell Wilson missing the first six games with five touchdowns as opposed to only one interception but the veteran returned last week and looked more comfortable than almost any game in his two years in Denver. Now Pittsburgh has a chance to win three games in a row after it beat the New York Jets last week 37-15 on Sunday Night Football. The Steelers got off to a slow start being down 15-6 but scored 31 unanswered and shut out Aaron Rodgers and the Jets in the second half. Wilson threw for two scores and rushed for another one as he looked right at home in his first start for his new team. The Steelers should cruise to victory against another New York team trending in the wrong direction.

The Giants are trying to avoid losing three games in a row tonight after scoring only 10 combined points in their last two games. New York’s last game was particularly halting with the Giants dropping to their hated rival Philadelphia Eagles 28-3. Saquon Barkley ran all over his former team 13 yards off his career high with 176 yards and a touchdown. New York was held to just a field goal to close out the second quarter and were never really in the game. This game against another Pennsylvania squad won’t get any easier.
