The Carolina Panthers and New York Giants head to Munich, for the NFL’s third annual Germany game. Watch free on Fubo.

The NFL is headed to Munich, Germany when the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers face off. Both teams are sitting at the bottom of the division with a 2-7 record but an enthusiastic German audience should boost the stakes and the competitiveness of this game. The NFL has played the last two years in Germany. The first time was in 2022 in Munich and played in Frankfurt in 2023. This game is back in Munich at the Allianz Arena which is the home of Bayern Munich. Carolina is coming off a 23-22 win against division rival the New Orleans Saints that broke up a five-game losing streak. QB Bryce Young had one of the better starts of his tumultuous two years in the NFL when he led the winning 64-yard drive that was capped off by a 16-yard TD run by Chuba Hubbard. It was Hubbard’s second TD of the game and Young was able to use the victory formation for the first time in the NFL. With the win, Young has been given another chance to start over a healthy Andy Dalton who was in a car accident with his family earlier in the season. This is Young’s first trip to Europe in his life and he has a huge opportunity to win back-to-back games for the first time in his career with New York losing four games in a row. Carolina is technically the home team today but it is a -6.5-point underdog against the Giants.

The Giants are likely favored against Carolina despite their meandering offense because the Panthers have given up more points than any other team in the league. Daniel Jones grew up in the Charlotte area so he will be facing off against his hometown team today. New York is coming off a close loss against a great division rival in the Washington Commanders.

New York dropped 27-22 last week with Washington getting up 21-7 by half. The Commanders let their foot up off the gas a bit in the second half but two late touchdowns by the Giants in the last 10 minutes was too little, too late. Jones didn’t light up the scoreboard with 174 yards and two touchdowns but he didn’t have any turnovers either. If he can replicate that and amp it up on offense just a bit especially against a weak defense, New York has a great chance to break this losing streak.
