The New England Patriots haven’t lost for two months, and they’ll look to stay hot against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.

The New England Patriots look to improve on their best record in the league, when they host the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. The Patriots enter the final month of the regular season, with the chance to improve to 11-2. New England has already won nine games in a row, after starting the season 1-2. This is a completely different Patriots team than the one we saw last season. Head coach Mike Vrabel has instantly turned this team around in his first year, after the Patriots finished 4-13 last season. The Denver Broncos survived against the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football, to tie the Patriots for the best record in the AFC but New England has a shot at taking the No. 1 seed outright. This is shaping up to be a very similar season we saw 10 years ago, when the Patriots and Broncos met in the AFC Championship which was the last meeting ever by Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. They will be hosting New York, who has the opposite 2-10 record coming into this game. This team looks to have a bright future ahead of them though with their rising star rookie quarterback. Speaking of which, Jaxon Dart is expected to return tonight after missing the last two games with a concussion against the Chicago Bears. Despite that good news, New England is still the projected -7.5-point favorite to win its 10th in a row.

New England is coming off a 26-20 win on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals last week. The Patriots became the first team in the league to win in double digits with the victory. New England was able to come back from a 10-point deficit, despite losing left guard Jared Wilson to an ankle injury, and left tackle Will Campbell sustaining a knee injury. Neither will be available for this game against the Giants. QB Drake Maye still stood tall despite the offensive line setbacks, throwing for 294 yards with a touchdown. The Patriots’ cause was helped tremendously by a 33-yard pick six in the second quarter that swung the momentum of the game, and gave New England its first lead of the game. The Patriots scored four field goals the rest of the game, to secure the win.

The Giants are coming off a tough 34-27 loss to the Detroit Lions on the road in overtime. Things were looking great with backup QB Jameis Winston leading the Giants to a 27-17 lead early in the fourth quarter. Winston caught a 33-yard pass from wide receiver Gunner Olszewski. It looked like the Giants had all the momentum and would finally hold on to a close victory. But Detroit running back Jahmir Gibbs had other plans. He got the Lions back within three on a 49-yard rushing touchdown, and then he scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime on a 69-yard touchdown. Now the Giants will try to break a six-game losing streak with Dart back under center.
