As the Las Vegas Raiders and Cincinnati Bengals face off today, both teams desperately need wins. 

To kick off Sunday’s slate of games, the Cincinnati Bengals will host the Las Vegas Raiders at Paycor Stadium this afternoon. Both teams have tremendous talent, but haven’t gotten off to the best start to the season. Even then, this is an important contest for both franchises as we enter the back half of the season.

The Raiders enter this week 2-6, which puts them last in the AFC West. They’ve lost four consecutive games entering Week 9 and really could use a victory today. Las Vegas is in a tough division, so a loss this week could officially put them out of the race even for a wildcard spot.

At 3-5, the Bengals have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL this season. They’re winless at home which has been a huge issue, entering today with an 0-4 record in Cincinnati. This is a team with very high expectations, so it wouldn’t be surprising for them to be a buyer at the upcoming trade deadline.
