Two teams who have faced quarterback injuries this season will match up this afternoon as the Colts host the Dolphins.
In Week 7, the Indianapolis Colts will host the Miami Dolphins at Lucas Oil Stadium this afternoon. Both teams are at or below .500 thus far in the season, but there’s still plenty of time to turn the season around.
The Dolphins are 2-3 at this point in the season, which is good for second in the AFC East given how much teams in that division have struggled thus far. They’re 1-1 on the road but have a chance to go above .500 away from Miami with a win today. They’ve been without their starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for a good portion of the season, but still have a chance to make this a successful season.
At 3-3, the Colts are also second in their division as they navigate AFC South standings. They’re 2-1 at home this season and have played fairly well in Indianapolis thus far. Similar to Miami, the Colts have missed their starter, Anthony Richardson, for several weeks this season but have stayed afloat.

In Week 6, the Colts defeated the Tennessee Titans by a field goal, coming out on top 20-17. They’ll need to perform better this week to get a victory, but Indianapolis is fully capable of doing so. The Dolphins were on a bye last week so should be fresh entering this contest. This is a Miami offense that can put up points in a hurry, so this could turn into a shootout.
Following this contest, the Dolphins will host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8. Meanwhile, the Colts will hit the road to take on their division rival, the Houston Texans.
