The Kansas City Chiefs begin their quest for a three-peat on Thursday night when they take on the Baltimore Ravens.
The Kansas City Chiefs host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night in the first NFL game of the season. The Chiefs are coming off two straight Super Bowl championships and are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win a third straight. The Chiefs are still led by Patrick Mahomes but are coming off a preseason in which they went 0-3. The preseason hasn’t meant much to the Chiefs, though, as they have kept their starters out for most of the games. The Chiefs are still one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl this year and are looking to get off to a great start with a win over the rival Ravens.

The Ravens, though, are looking to avenge a loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game last year and get a huge road win. The Ravens got off to a slow start last year as they lost two of their first five games, but they got hot and went 10-2 over their last 12 games to win the AFC North.
Lamar Jackson led the way last year as he threw for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also led the team in rushing with 821 yards. Gus Edwards led the team with 13 touchdowns on the ground.
