The Texans go for their third straight win on Sunday afternoon when they visit the Patriots
The Houston Texans hit the road on Sunday afternoon to take on the New England Patriots. The Texans come into Sunday on a two-game winning streak and 4-1 on the season. The Texans have been playing well, but it hasn’t been easy over the last two games. They had to come back to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars two weeks ago and then had to survive a furious comeback from the Buffalo Bills last week. They raced out to a 20-3 lead over the Bills, but saw them score the next 17 points. They overcame the comeback and got a field goal as time expired from Ka’imi Fairbairn to give them the win. The Texans did suffer a loss during the game as Nico Collins left the game with a hamstring injury. They put him on the IR and will now be without the league’s leading receiver for at least the next four games.

The Patriots will look to take advantage as they try and snap a four-game losing streak. They shocked the NFL world in Week 1 as they upset the Cincinnati Bengals 16-10, but they haven’t won since.
The offense has struggled in the four consecutive losses as they have scored just 46 combined points. They have scored 13 or fewer points in three of the losses.
The struggles has led to the Patriots to turn to rookie Drake Maye at quarterback for Sunday.
Maye replaces Jacoby Brissett who has thrown for just 696 yards and two touchdowns in their first five games.
