The Las Vegas Raiders look to end a four-game losing streak and get their first home win of the season, when they host the Tennessee Titans.

The Tennessee Titans look to build off their first win of the season, when they travel to take on the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday afternoon in Week 6. Rookie Cam Ward got the first win of his career last week in a 22-21 comeback effort against the Arizona Cardinals. The win was a big sigh of relief for the Titans, who had lost their first four games of the season. Vegas has had the inverse season of Tennessee. The Raiders are also 1-4 on the season, with things going south after they won their season opener against the New England. Since then, Las Vegas has dropped four straight and losing by its biggest margin of the season last week in a 40-6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The Raiders haven’t really been helped out with homefield advantage this season either, as they look for their first win at Allegiant Stadium this year coming in with an 0-2 record. With these franchises having similar trajections, the Raiders are just a slight -3.5-point favorite today.

After a very close game a very close game against the Chicago Bears, there was very little redeemable about the Raiders last game against the Colts. QB Geno Smith threw for 228 yards but threw two interceptions with no touchdowns. Kicker Daniel Carlson scored the only points in the first quarter for either team. But then it was all downhill after that for Las Vegas. Indianapolis went on to score 40 unanswered to blow out the Raiders. Coincedently, Carlson scored the only points in the fourth quarter with the only other score of the day for the Raiders. Jonathan Taylor was just too much for Las Vegas, reaching the end zone three times while QB Daniel Jones threw for another two. The Raiders have to completely wipe that game from their memories to have a shot at beating Tennessee today.

The Titans looked dead in the water the first half of their game against Arizona, down as much as 21-3. Tennessee hit a field goal right before the half, but things were still looking bleak. But then their defense completely shut down the Cardinals, not allowing the home team to score the rest of the game to snap a 10-game losing streak dating back to last season. The Cardinals almost literally handee the Titans the win, but Arizona made two costly mistakes to swing the tide. Arizona was looking like they would score to ice the game on an Emari Demercado 72-yard touchdown run with just under 13 minutes left in the game. But Demercado dropped the ball right before the endzone.

The Titans responded with their first touchdown in eight quarters. Arizona would then intercept one of Ward’s passes, but Dadrion Taylor-Demerson coughed it right back up. Tennessee would put together an 11-play drive for 71 yards, kicking the game winning field goal as time expired in the improbable win. Ward took advantage in the fourth quarter going for 193 yards on 13 of 18. It was the type of comeback, that gave us a hint of a reminder why he was drafted first overall. This is a great opportunity against a struggling Raiders team, to build off that momentum.
