The San Francisco 49ers go for their fourth victory in a row in Week 15, as the Tennessee Titans come to town on Sunday.

The San Francisco 49ers look to keep pace in the NFC West, when they host the Tennessee Titans in Week 15. The biggest concern for the 49ers this week, was if Christian McCaffrey was going to suit up for this matchup against the Titans. He is dealing with a back injury, but he is expected to play through it on Sunday afternoon. San Francisco has a good shot of winning its fourth game in a row, which would be its first time since 2023 to accomplish that feat. The Niners have already won four of their last five games. San Francisco comes into this game with a 9-4 record, just one game back of the division lead which is currently tied at the top between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. The Titans are 2-11, but at least they had more reason to smile this week. Tennessee won its second game of the season last week, against the Cleveland Browns on the road. It might not be the most high profile win, but it did end a seven-game losing streak for the Titans. Tennessee will still be the big underdog on the road today, with San Francisco holding on to a -12.5-point spread.

Both the 49ers and Titans are coming off victories against the Browns. San Francisco beat Cleveland 26-8 on Nov. 30, and are coming off of its bye week last week. The game against the Browns was close early, but San Francisco had four-consecutive scores the rest of the game. McCaffrey scored the first touchdown of the day, and he had 74 all-purpose yards. Brock Purdy threw for 168 yards and a touchdown, without turning it over in the first home game of Cleveland’s Shedeur Sanders. In the Niners previous game he threw three interceptions, but San Francisco was still able to get the victory against the Carolina Panthers.

Cam Ward was still able to get the victory over the Browns last week, even though Sanders outdueled him on the stat sheet. Ward finished the day with 117 passing yards, with two touchdowns and an interception. That was compared to Sanders who threw for 364 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. The real difference for the Titans in a 31-29 victory against the Browns was running back Tony Pollard. He showed flashes of what made him great on the Dallas Cowboys, rushing for 161 yards with two touchdowns. They’ll need a similar output from Pollard today, if the Titans are going to be able to pull off this upset.
