Chris Kreider scored the first goal of the game in the second, and Beckett Sennecke scored what proved to be the game-winner in the middle of the third. Dallas scored 17:48 into the final period, but Jacob Trouba scored on an empty net to give the Ducks some breathing room. The victory gave Anaheim a 2-1 season-series win over Dallas in the finale. Lukas Dostal was the first star of the game with 24 saves, nearly earning the shutout. The shots he stopped in the final minutes of the game alone made him deserving of that star.

The Kings are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss against the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday. Mark Stone scored the game-winner 25 seconds into the extra period. Jack Eichel was the second star, adding three assists for the Golden Knights. Kevin Fiala and Brandt Clarke both answered the call when the Kings were down a goal. Clarke scored his game-tying goal with just 1:27 left in regulation to force overtime to earn the third star of the night. They’ll need a lot more offense early to defend home ice against Anaheim.
