The Panthers will likely face the Maple Leafs in the first round of the playoffs. Columbus, on the other hand, is eliminated from playoff contention with 64 points. The Panthers earned a 5-2 victory over the Blue Jackets back in December.

As for Columbus, the Blue Jackets lost their second straight game in a 5-2 loss to the Lightning on Tuseday night in Tampa Bay. Steven Stamkos scored a hat trick and added an assist for Tampa, while Kirill Marchenko scored two goals in the loss for Columbus.
