The Blackhawks will have a good chance at bouncing back from their last game against Edmonton, because the Flames have already lost five of their last six games. This should be a relatively close game, though, as Chicago only has three more points than Calgary. Oddsmakers agree that this one will be close, as Chicago is only a -115 favorite to sweep at home tonight.

Chicago lost 4-1 to the Edmonton Oilers in its last home game on Monday. Connor McDavid continues to be brilliant, as he extended his career-high points streak to 19 games with two assists. Chicago couldn’t score until three-quarters of the way through the third on a goal from Tyler Bertuzzi. The goal cut the Edmonton lead in half, though, but the Blackhawks couldn’t generate any more offense with the Oilers scoring two more goals to go up 2-0 in the season series.

The Flames are coming off a 5-3 loss against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday. It was the first game for the new Columbus head coach, Rick Bowness. Calgary was outshot 43-32 with the Blue Jackets scoring the game-winning goal from Boone Jenner with 1:34 remaining in regulation. Columbus scored the first two goals of the game, but Calgary kept fighting back. Morgan Frost and Rasmus Andersson both scored on the power play to tie the game in the second. Columbus went up again in the third, but Mikael Backlund scored another power-play goal to tie it again. The Blue Jackets were just unrelenting at the end of a hard-fought game.
