Ducks continue their playoff push as they end the road trip in Dallas aiming to pull off historic season sweep of the Stars
Sitting eight points out of the final Wild Card spot in a jam-packed Western Conference race, the Anaheim Ducks wrap a quick two-game road trip in the Metroplex on Tuesday night as they look for their first ever season sweep of the Dallas Stars. The Ducks have taken the first two meetings against Dallas this season equaling the win total against the Stars over the previous five seasons combined. Dallas is second in the Central Division having lost three of their four games on a disastrous northern road trip and are now nine points behind Winnipeg with 16 games to play.

Paced by four 20-plus goal scorers, the Stars offense ranks fourth in the NHL scoring 3.38 goals per game and has scored three or more goals in nine of their last 10 games. Stars winger Jason Robertson has a team-high 29 goals this season having posted four goals in his last five games. Robertson, a second-round selection by Dallas in the 2017 NHL Draft, is one goal away from his third 30-goal campaign in the last four seasons and is on pace for his third consecutive 80-point season.
Ducks winger Troy Terry leads the team with 49 points after posting four points in his last six games. The 27-year-old Denver native is two goals shy of his fourth consecutive 20-goal season and has four career goals against the Stars.
Dallas has dominated this series at home winning 11 of the last 12 meetings dating back to October of 2015 before the Ducks snapped their road losing streak back in mid-November.
