The win snapped a five-game losing streak and pushed their record to 22-45-10 on the season. They have had a rough season and are trying to win a second straight game for just the third time this season. They haven’t done it since the beginning of March when they knocked off the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings in back-to-back games. Tuesday is the first of two straight road games and they will play four of their last five games on the road to end the season. They currently sit in last place in the Central Division, eight points back of the Nashville Predators.

They have 74 points, which is three back of the Columbus Blue Jackets and three up on the last place Philadelphia Flyers.

They come into Tuesday having lost five of their last seven games and it has dropped them to 31-35-12 on the season.

They will head back on the road for a game against the New Jersey Devils on Friday, but then will return home for two games on their own ice to end the season.
