On a season-longest six-game losing streak, the Boston Bruins wrap up their two-game Sunshine State swing on Saturday afternoon when they face off against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers in a matinee meeting between the Atlantic Division rivals. Florida has alternated wins and losses over their last six games and have lost three of their last five on home ice. The Panthers have dominated the Bruins in this series of late winning each of the first two meetings this season after bouncing Boston out of the playoffs, for the second consecutive season, in six games back in May of 2024.

Despite having no skater with double-digit goals on the power play this season, the Panthers rank sixth in the NHL with the man advantage scoring on 25.0% of chances with the man advantage. Center Sam Reinhart has scored eight of his team-leading 23 goals on the power play this season after tallying a goal in Wednesday’s win at Utah snapping a six-game goalless streak. Reinhart is two power play goals shy of his fifth consecutive double-digit power play goal season after collecting a career-high 27 goals on the man advantage last year.

Bruins winger David Pastrnak leads the team with 42 points this season having posted five goals in five January outings. As Pastrnak goes, so does Boston, posting 29 points in 20 Bruins wins while tallying just 13 points in the 24 Boston losses.

Boston has won six of the last nine road meetings at Florida including sweeping the season series last year and winning twice on away ice in the postseason.
