The teams headed to overtime where Rasmus Dahlin scored the game-winner.

The Flyers got off to a rough start this season, but are slowly creeping up in the Metropolitan standings. The team is currently in sixth place in the division with a record of 7-8-2, giving them 16 points. The team will look to make it three wins in a row on Saturday in front of a home crowd.

Philadelphia’s last time out on the ice was on Thursday night in Ottawa and the Flyers picked up a 5-4 overtime victory. Travis Sanheim opened the scoring just three minutes into the game to give Philly a 1-0 lead, but Ottawa tied things up three minutes later. The Senators took the lead halfway through the second, but with a minute remaining in the period, Travis Konecny tied things back up.

The third period was full of excitement with four goals being scored to send the game into overtime. Ottawa scored first to go ahead and extended the lead to 4-2 with 10 minutes remaining in the game. Anthony Richard brought it back within one for the Flyers and Bobby Brink made it all square with seven minutes left. With only 55 seconds left in overtime, Matvei Michkov scored the game-winner to give Philly its second straight win.
