The 2024 NHL Global Series continues Saturday morning when the Buffalo Sabres and New Jersey Devils play the second of two games at O2 Arena in Prague.

Game 2 of the NHL regular season gets underway bright and early on Saturday morning. For those who missed it, the New Jersey Devils (1-0-1) and Buffalo Sabres (0-1-0) are getting the regular season started about a week ahead of everybody else, playing a pair of games at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic as part of the 2024 NHL Global Series. Saturday’s game will be the second of a two-game set between the two teams. In the first game on Friday, the Devils game away with a 4-1 win. New Jersey was able jump out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, and didn’t look back.

Four different players scored goals for the Devils. Defenseman Johnathan Kovacevic got the first star of the game, assisting on the first goal of the game and scoring the second himself.

In net, Jacob Markstrom was excellent for the Devils. He stopped 30 of the 31 shots he saw not allowing a goal through the first 50 minutes of action.

That lone Buffalo goal was scored by defenseman Owen Power. Power led all defensemen on Buffalo with three shots on net, while the team leader was center Dylan Cozens with seven.

Puck drop for Saturday’s game is set for 10:00 p.m. ET. The game can be viewed nationally on NHL Network, and locally on MSG Sportsnet.
