After Black Friday win, the Panthers head home to face Carolina for the second time in 25 hours

With a dominant 6-3 road win on Friday in Raleigh, the Florida Panthers now head home to Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL to face off against the Carolina Hurricanes for the second day in a row. The Panthers had a sluggish November losing six out of seven games but are looking to close out the month with a bang in search of a third consecutive win before jetting off on a span of games that will see the defending Stanley Cup Champions play eight of their next 10 games on away ice. Carolina has now lost three of their last five and have relinquished the best record in the Eastern Conference after allowing 17 goals in the last five games.

Panthers center Sam Reinhart leads the National Hockey League with 18 goals this season having scored in 14 of his last 17 games. Reinhart, who was the second overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, is on pace for his second consecutive 50-goal season and for his first career 100-point season after tallying a career high 94 points a year ago.

Carolina ranks second in the NHL scoring 3.96 goals per game paced by its seventh ranked power play unit that has converted on 27.3% of opportunities with the man advantage. The Hurricanes have scored four or more goals in six of their last eight games and have scored a power play goal in five straight contests.

Center Martin Necas has been the engine for the high-powered Canes power play scoring five of his team leading 12 goals on the power play and has contributed 12 assists on the man advantage.

This is the second of three meetings between the teams this season with the series ending in Florida in early January.
