The New Jersey Devils look to snap a four-game losing streak on Sunday night when they host the Anaheim Ducks.

The New Jersey Devils welcome the Anaheim Ducks to town on Sunday night in the final game of a quick two-game homestand. The Devils come into Saturday on a four-game losing streak and are 5-4-2 on the season. The defense has not been good for the Devils, as they have given up at least four goals in every game and 23 combined goals in the four losses. They had won five of the first seven games and had given up two or fewer goals in four of those games. They were playing great hockey, but have really struggled over the last eight days. They did lose two of those games in overtime, but they are going to have to stop giving up so many goals if they want to get back in the win column. Sunday they hope that starts against a slumping Anaheim team.

The Ducks come into Saturday having lost three of their last four and are 3-3-1 on the season. Sunday they will be playing for the second consecutive day after losing to the New York Rangers 2-1 on the road on Saturday night.

The Ducks have had trouble scoring this year, as they have been held to three or fewer goals in all but one game this season.

Sunday’s game is the second of a four-game road trip that will also see them play the New York Islanders on Tuesday and the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday. They will then return home for a six-game homestand.

Regional restrictions may apply.
