Riding a three game winning streak and having won 14 of their last 18 games, the Edmonton Oilers aim for a season sweep of the Boston Bruins as they face off inside TD Garden on Tuesday night. The Oilers are in third place in a jam packed Pacific Division trailing Vegas by six points heading into this game while Boston has lost five of their last six games including four in a row and are nine points behind Toronto in the Atlantic standings. Edmonton won the first matchup of the season between these teams overcoming a two goal deficit to win on a Mattias Ekholm goal in overtime to cap off a 3-2 home win over the Bruins in mid-December.

The Oilers tandem of centers Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid have combined for 44 goals and 69 assists through the first 39 games this season, the highest scoring duo in the NHL. Draisaitl comes into this contest on a 14-game points streak with nine multi-point games in that span while McDavid, the 2023 league MVP, has tallied a point in 12 of his last 14 including a goal in the win against Boston.

Bruins winger David Pastrnak has four goals in his last two games and leads Boston with 17 goals this season. Pastrnak, a first-round pick by the Bruins in the 2014 NHL Draft, has posted consecutive 100-point seasons and is on pace for his sixth career 80-point campaign in the last eight years.

Edmonton has won seven of the last eight games in Boston and three of the last four meetings in this series with each of the last two victories coming in overtime.
