The Vancouver Canucks go for their second straight win on Tuesday night when they visit the Edmonton Oilers.

The Vancouver Canucks look to take a two-game lead on the Edmonton Oilers when the two teams hit the ice on Tuesday night. The Canucks won Game 3 on Sunday to take the series lead and can now take control with another win on Tuesday. They had won the opener and lost Game 2, but used a big first period to lead them to the victory on Sunday night. The Canucks scored three times in the opening period to build a 3-1 lead and would never let the Oilers draw even. Brock Boeser scored twice in the first period and Elias Lindholm also added two goals to lead the Canucks to the win.

The Oilers couldn’t recover from that first period and are now needing to get a win on Tuesday to even the series.

The Oilers did score first in Game 3, but struggled the rest of the first period. Leon Draisaitl scored in the second to cut the lead to one and Evan Bouchard did the same in the third, but they could never get the equalizer.

Draisaitl has been great in this series, as he has three goals and six assists in just three games against the Canucks. The Oilers will need him to continue his hot play as they try and even the series.
